Collaborate with teachers and friends of the affected person to help with missing lessons while they are unwell and hospitalized.

The project is concerned with patients who have hereditary blood diseases of the category (sickle cell anaemia and thalassemia), starting from the age of 10 years and above. Encourage the association to teach and give remedial lessons to students. Raise the educational and emotional level of the patient by keeping them away from frustration and depression stemming from not having a regular life.
As a result of this, there would be the reassurance that a child would continue to be able to study despite not attending school regularly would help in emotionally motivating the child.

History and significance of the project:
The association started the training project in 2000. By the year 2007 around 600 patients were trained. During the period 2008 – 2010, the number of beneficiaries of the project reached 172 patients at a rate of (237) training courses, where patients benefited a lot from this program while some started work in companies, institutions and some started their own businesses. There is a great demand for this program as many new patients have requested to join. As of today, 1500 patients benefited and the children of patients were included in the training sessions in the year 2019.

The project was able to enhance community partnership by including assistance for professional, practical and scientific help to relieve families from caring for their children 24/7. This also led to the enablement of patients to be slightly independent and be able to care for their families. We have assisted them in with regards to their need for employment and economic background. We have gone ahead and helped them rebuild their self-confidence and alleviate their problems.
